“I was honoured to be invited as a speaker at the 6th ANCC in Dubai. In addition to the excellent organisation, I was so grateful for the welcoming hospitality by Dr. khaled El-Atawi and his colleagues in the organising committee.”
“Dr El Atawi and colleagues have once again led the way bringing together a neonatal family moving forward as one in this ever changing and exciting field of specialist new-born care.”
This was my first travel to the U.A.E. The hospitality was overwhelming, but I was especially happy to feel the enthusiasm, professionalism and competence among the conference participants.
The pre-congress course on neonatal transportation was very well attended, and during the intensive 1-day course we managed to deal with a lot of the challenges in the transport of high risk neonates, including equipment, operations, skills and competences, training and education as well as team composition, patient-and-family-centered-care and difficult ethical issues.
